How does a trial flight work?
From ground briefing to flying above Flanders yourself.
During a trial flight, dual controls are fitted in the aircraft. The first half hour you stay on the ground next to the helicopter. You get to know the aircraft, receive an explanation of the controls and instruments, and together with the instructor you carry out the preflight check and startup procedure.
Then comes the practical part: you fly! Through a series of exercises you learn to handle the helicopter. For the 60-minute flight we split this into 30 minutes of hands-on flying and 30 minutes of sightseeing — a wonderful way to unwind after the effort! Want to continue learning to fly after this? Ground briefing
30 minutes of theory: controls, instruments, preflight check and startup procedure together with your instructor.

Take the controls
You take over the controls. Through a series of exercises you learn to fly the helicopter, with dual controls as your safety net.

Sightseeing (60 min)
On the 60-minute flight you enjoy 30 minutes of sightseeing above Flanders after your hands-on flying session.
